Position at MVP Factory Technologies GmbH

Why Ness
We know that people are our greatest asset. Our staff’s professionalism, innovation, teamwork, and dedication to excellence have helped us become one of the world’s leading technology companies. It is these qualities that are vital to our continued success. As a Ness employee, you will be working on products and platforms for some of the most innovative software companies in the world.
You’ll gain knowledge working alongside other highly skilled professionals that will help accelerate your career progression.
You’ll also benefit from an array of advantages like access to trainings and certifications, bonuses, and aids, socializing activities and attractive compensation.

We are looking for a… Senior Product Manager to lead the development of a simple, CMS-driven user funnel in a digital platform project with multiple user groups. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, designers, engineers, and end-users to define and deliver a lean MVP focused on document workflows and clear user experiences. This is a remote-first position, but fluent German language skills are a must due to direct involvement with German-speaking stakeholders.

In this role, you will…

Project Initiation and Alignment:
  • Lead the initial scoping phase through structured workshops to align expectations, define requirements, and shape the MVP scope and timeline.
  • Translate diverse user needs into a clear product strategy and roadmap focused on simplicity, clarity, and maintainability.
  • Define structured funnel logic and user flows tailored to multiple user types (e.g., internal teams, partners, third-party institutions).
Product Management and Delivery:
  • Own the product roadmap from concept to delivery, ensuring focus on essential functionalities while managing scope and resources efficiently.
  • Write detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria to guide development teams.
  • Prioritize features to support a lean MVP approach, emphasizing manual processes where automation is not yet necessary.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing to ensure a cohesive and functional product experience.
  • Work with engineers to implement a headless CMS (e.g., Contentful or Strapi), deploy on cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure), and integrate tracking tools like Amplitude for usage analytics.
  • Support branding and KPI definition in collaboration with marketing teams.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the main point of contact for German-speaking clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Communicate scope, priorities, and progress clearly and regularly, managing changing needs with structure and transparency.
  • Provide ongoing support in defining processes and decision-making frameworks beyond the technical build.
Workshops and Facilitation:
  • Conduct requirement workshops with diverse user groups to map permissions (e.g., document upload vs. view-only access).
  • Ensure functional clarity on document management needs, folder structures, templates, and access rights.
  • Focus on enabling a streamlined and intuitive setup, while planning for potential future expansion (e.g., automation, integrations).

We’re looking for someone with…
  • Strong experience in digital product management, ideally in a consultancy, agency, or fast-paced delivery environment.
  • Hands-on experience building CMS-based platforms with clear funnel logic and access-based document handling.
  • Familiarity with tools like Contentful, Strapi, Azure, Amplitude, or similar technologies.
  • A pragmatic and structured approach to scoping MVPs with limited budgets and short timelines.
  • Experience working with multi-stakeholder environments—ideally including public sector, nonprofit, or industry-specific contexts such as renewable energy (a plus).
  • Fluency in German (C1 or higher) and excellent communication skills to interface confidently with clients and teams.
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration.

Additionally...
We don’t expect a perfect match across every item. We’re looking for T-shaped team members: people who bring deep expertise in one area and curiosity to grow in others. You’ll join a collaborative, diverse environment focused on building impactful digital products at speed.

Location: Remote-first, with occasional travel for workshops or client sessions.
