Job Title: Product Manager – Mounting Devices
Department: Product Management
Accountability: This position reports to the Director of Product Management
Responsibilities:
In this position you will take “ownership” of the life cycle of a group of products. You will analyze the competitive situation and then formulate the best strategy for Havis going forward. You will work closely with Sales, Business Development, Engineering and technical partners to find opportunities, develop business cases, define product/pricing/placement strategy, document market requirements and help manage the launch of new/improved products. You will monitor and ensure gross margin performance and you will manage ramp down/ramp up strategies for successive generations of product.

OTHER PROJECTS
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
- Experience with Mounting Devices preferred
- (Clamps, Cupholders, Dual-Ball Mounts, Swivel Devices, Magnetic Mounts, etc.)
- 5+ years of hardware product management experience (technical products preferred)
- Dynamic, energetic, and able to communicate effectively in groups and individually
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external partners
- Independent self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Exceptional presentation skills both live and online (Webinar)
- Experience with Product/Project management & CRM software
- Strongly prefer a candidate that is located near Burnsville, MN and works out of that office. We will consider a candidate near Plymouth, MI or Warminster, PA.
- Remote/hybrid work arrangements will be considered but is not preferred
- Willingness to travel (~20%)
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
