We are seeking a Manager of Brand and External Communications to help shape and amplify our brand presence, ensuring our messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with our positioning and differentiation in the market. The Brand and External Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage key audiences, and establish thought leadership. This role requires a deep understanding of B2B technical industries, expertise in digital marketing communications, and the ability to craft high-impact content optimized for the digital landscape. Our cost-effective, plug-and-play products empower businesses of all sizes to conduct as needed predictive and preventative maintenance on mission-critical and secondary equipment in order to maximize uptime.

Job Description
This position will give you the opportunity to:
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging across all external communications.
- Create compelling content, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, social media posts, website copy, press releases, and other digital assets that align with brand positioning.
- Oversee and manage social media strategy and execution, ensuring engagement and growth across platforms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product, sales, and marketing teams, to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging content.
- Optimize content for digital platforms, ensuring best practices in SEO, UX, and performance analytics.
- Manage public relations efforts, including media outreach, press releases, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Develop and execute external and internal communication strategies that support product launches, industry events, and corporate milestones.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive messaging, and emerging digital content formats to continuously refine the company’s external communication approach.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of branding and communications efforts, using data-driven insights to enhance performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in branding, content marketing, or external communications, preferably in a B2B technical or industrial sector.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling, technically accurate content.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, social media, and content marketing.
- Experience managing social media platforms and engagement strategies for B2B audiences.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, translating technical information into digestible, value-driven messaging.
- Proven experience managing PR and media relations.
- Strong analytical skills to measure the success of branding and communication initiatives.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with marketing automation and content management systems (e.g., HubSpot, WordPress, Marketo, etc.).
- Experience working with designers and agencies to create visually compelling marketing assets.
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, technology, or similar B2B industries.
