Job Description

In this role, you will bring the passion for Integrated Brand Marketing. From annual brand planning, program development, audience building, and enhancing our fan experiences inside and outside our venues, this role plays a critical role in connecting with our fans across all touchpoints.

Working under the Director, Integrated Brand Marketing & Fan Engagement, you will collaborate with various business, sales, ticketing and creative marketing groups, merging business, creativity, data and technology to develop campaigns and initiatives that promote our teams throughout the fan journey.

  • Energize brand programs. You will come up with new directions that can be implemented into new and existing programs and plans while reiterating the overarching value proposition for fans.
  • Collaborate with various departmental teams. You will work closely with data and insights, to inform and optimize our plans and decisions.
  • Establish and implement program plans. You will develop program plans for various brand initiatives. The goal is to guide the teams toward the successful launch of products, services, and campaigns that promote the Maple Leafs and Marlies brands.
  • Harmonize brand and business objectives. You will work to balance the goals of the brand with those of the business, bringing them together in the successful driving of revenue through ticket sales, retail, and partnerships.

Qualifications

  • The interpersonal skills. You are a team player, able to build relationships with colleagues and collaborate with teams across various company departments to bring branding goals and objectives to life. You are great at communicating and are at your most comfortable in front of a crowd. You are an exceptional storyteller, confident in your delivery as you make brand descriptions and presentations to anyone from fans to business executives.
  • The creativity. You have an eye for big ideas but are focused on results. You can visualize the bigger picture, and break it down into actionable goals, modeling imaginative concepts into action plans that collectively achieve overall objectives.
  • The drive. You are a self-starter, capable of taking matters into your own hands and seeing them through to completion with minimal supervision. You are motivated to surpass targets concerning campaigns and how they relate to brand growth objectives.
  • The multitasking skill. You are capable of balancing multiple responsibilities simultaneously and are capable of planning and prioritizing them accordingly. You are highly adaptive to situations as they change around you, and perform well under pressure without ever losing sight of your set goals.
  • The experience. You have a five to seven-year background in strategic or integrated marketing around company brands and experience in managing campaigns.
