Job Description






The Director of Brand Marketing at DDN will be the visionary and steward of our brand, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive brand strategy across all channels, including web, social, events, and digital platforms. This leader will have the creative vision and strategic acumen to elevate DDN’s brand presence globally, driving thought leadership and creating impactful campaigns that deliver powerful business outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy Development & Execution:

  • Own and lead the overall brand strategy for DDN, ensuring a cohesive and compelling brand narrative across all channels.
  • Develop and execute global brand campaigns that resonate with target audiences and align with business objectives.
  • Build and enhance DDN’s thought leadership position through creative, innovative campaigns that highlight our expertise in AI, Big Data, and HPC.

Creative Direction:

  • Serve as the creative director for the brand, overseeing the development of all visual and written content to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with DDN’s brand identity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce high-impact creative assets for web, social media, digital marketing, events, and more.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the marketing team, encouraging bold ideas and fresh approaches.

Integrated Marketing Campaigns:

  • Lead the creation of integrated marketing campaigns that span digital, social, events, and other channels to build brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Work closely with demand generation, product marketing, and sales teams to ensure brand campaigns effectively support lead generation and sales goals.
  • Measure and analyze the performance of brand campaigns, using data to inform and optimize future initiatives.

Web & Digital Presence:

  • Oversee the development and management of DDN’s web presence, ensuring it effectively communicates the brand’s value proposition and supports business goals.
  • Lead digital marketing efforts to amplify brand visibility and engagement across all online platforms.
  • Ensure a seamless and engaging user experience across all digital touchpoints, from website design to social media interactions.

Event Branding & Thought Leadership:

  • Own the branding and messaging for all DDN events, including industry conferences, trade shows, webinars, and company-hosted events.
  • Develop and execute thought leadership campaigns that position DDN as an industry leader in AI, Big Data, and HPC.
  • Collaborate with the corporate communications and PR teams to amplify thought leadership content and secure media coverage.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of designers and content creators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align brand strategy with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Partner with global marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and localization across all regions.

 

Qualifications:

 

Experience: 8+ years of experience in brand marketing, with a proven track record of building and managing global brands in the technology or related industries.

Creative Vision: Strong creative direction skills with the ability to lead the development of compelling visual and written content.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute brand strategies that drive business outcomes and align with broader marketing and sales goals.

Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring marketing teams, with a collaborative approach to working across departments.

Digital Expertise: Deep understanding of digital marketing, web development, and social media, with experience in managing multi-channel campaigns.

Event Marketing: Experience in branding and messaging for industry events and thought leadership initiatives.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate brand vision and strategy to diverse audiences.
