The Opportunity



Reporting to the Director, Communications and Branding, SAA, this dynamic role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a broad range of brand, marketing, and communications strategies for SAA, a leading full-service architecture practice headquartered in Singapore.

Our strategic Communications and Branding team focuses on the creative and strategic use of marketing to strengthen client relationships, understand the needs of our global community, align strategies to grow our business, and respond to our industry’s most pressing issues and opportunities.



We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic senior marketing professional who will support the Director, Communications and Branding, SAA in the leadership of SAA’s Brand and Communications team and deliver integrated marketing campaigns and activities. This role will support the entire client lifecycle, from gathering industry and client intelligence to aid strategy, through to rolling out client focused campaigns and measuring success.



You will work collaboratively with leadership across the business, so good communication and influencing skills are essential. The successful candidate will have at least 8 - 10 years of integrated marketing experience, with at least two years of experience in a leadership-oriented role, preferably with direct or similar industry experience.

Key Responsibilities



Primary responsibilities of this role include:


  • Support Director, Communications and Branding, SAA, in the development and execution of brand and communication strategies. You will support the delivery of campaigns, programs and initiatives that align with strategic business priorities for SAA.
  • Oversee calendar/timeline of integrated multi-channel tactics including conferences, client events, awards, social media, thought leadership and editorial activities, including budgetary requirements and KPI reporting.
  • Create, source, write, edit, and proofread various forms of targeted communications including but not limited to Town Hall presentations, internal newsletters, award entries, case studies, brochures, thought leadership, digital content, client presentations and email marketing content.
  • Contribute to impactful public relations strategies that connect to brand and business goals and respond to current issues and trends. This will include profiling projects, thought leadership, talent, executive profiles, special campaigns, and other activities.
  • Support SAA’s digital and social media strategy. Schedule, write and track and measure social media content to support both strategic initiatives and ad hoc requests.
  • Oversee SAA website and other digital properties including ongoing maintenance, website merchandising strategy and creative updates.
  • Execute strategic events aligned with business objectives including client engagement events, conference support, networking events as well as company led events, both in-person and virtual.
  • Liaise with creative department and other teams to create engaging collateral in support of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support growth strategies – monitor trends & developments relevant to specific regions, markets, sectors, service lines, and other topics aligned with business goals.
  • Prepare status and progress reports for leadership as needed.
  • Participate regularly in SAA team meetings & other initiatives as required.


Position Requirements


  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience with at least two years of experience in a leadership-oriented role.
  • Exceptional English written and verbal proficiency including copywriting (creative + business) and editing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience with content management systems, SEO marketing and data analytics
  • Must be highly detail-oriented with a strong drive for results, yet also flexible
  • A self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Client centric attitude, embracing firm brand and values


Preferred, but not mandatory


  • Relevant industry experience preferred – experience working in a similar role ideally in professional services
  • Proficiency with graphics and publishing software (e.g. MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite [Photoshop, InDesign], and web-based tools)
  • Proficiency working in open-source web applications
  • Experience with CRM systems
