We are seeking a Brand Manager who will dive in and steward our brand forward into this exciting new phase of growth.

We are seeking a Brand Manager who will help us maintain and elevate our brand in a competitive marketplace.

Position Overview

As a Brand Manager at Redbarn, you will be responsible for ensuring our brand remains strong, competitive, and differentiated. You will leverage business trends, consumer insights, and your leadership to optimize our product assortment, pricing, and merchandising strategy, ensuring revenue, profit, and share growth. The Brand Manager will develop and execute annual and long-term business plans, manage product launches, and lead the optimization of omni-channel marketing programs with a focus on digital and social media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analytics & Strategy: Analyze business trends for pricing, product assortment, and merchandising strategies to optimize revenue and market share growth.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide thought leadership and support the development of both annual and long-range business plans, delivering solid analyses and strategic recommendations that help steer overall business direction.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines and ensure successful execution by leading cross-functional teams—including Sales, R&D, Operations, Purchasing, Finance, and Agencies. Anticipate challenges, solve problems efficiently, and proactively recommend solutions to keep initiatives on track and achieve objectives.
  • Market Trends & Consumer Insights: Identify market trends and consumer insights to generate innovative product ideas that satisfy unmet needs. Author development briefs to initiate these projects.
  • New Product Launches: Lead the planning and coordination of new product launches from concept to market, covering product development, packaging, volume forecasting, pricing, and sales communication.
  • Sales Support: Provide consumer- and customer-insight-driven selling propositions to enable successful sales execution.
  • Marketing Program Optimization: Lead the implementation and optimization of omni-channel marketing communication programs, with focus on digital and social media.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate marketing programs based on financial impact, consumer engagement, and brand equity metrics. Monitor and adjust marketing plans based on key metric results.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years in marketing of consumer-packaged goods or brand strategy, brand management, or a related role with a focus on brand leadership.
  • Experience with consumer insights/behaviors (such as Nielsen, Circana, SPINS)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in branding or strategy are a plus.
  • Pet Industry experience a plus.

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of clearly articulating complex ideas.
  • Proficient in project management, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Creative problem solver with expertise in storytelling, digital marketing, content marketing, and social media strategy.
  • Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented approach, capable of adapting to a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead within a collaborative organization.
