Overview:
We are seeking a creative and strategic Brand and Communications Manager to lead and unify our branding, marketing, and public relations efforts across all platforms. This role is pivotal in ensuring our marketing is consistent, engaging, and reflective of the latest industry trends for our portfolio of 30 brands, including both proprietary and internationally distributed brands. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in public relations and will be responsible for managing all PR activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy and Implementation:
Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies for all company brands.
Establish and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity.
Develop baseline marketing campaigns across social, digital and retail to maximise brand engagement and sales.
Trend Integration and Innovation:
Stay current with industry trends and integrate them into marketing and advertising campaigns.
Ensure all marketing materials are innovative, engaging, and resonate with our target audiences.
Infuse fresh ideas to keep campaigns dynamic and captivating.
Marketing Alignment:
Collaborate with the Arts and Digital Marketing departments to align their outputs with overall brand strategies.
Review and approve key marketing collateral to ensure it meets brand standards and is on-trend.
Public Relations Management:
Develop and manage all PR activities related to the company and its brands.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other external partners.
Craft and disseminate press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
Act as the company's spokesperson when necessary and manage crisis communication.
Consistency and Quality Control:
Conduct regular audits of marketing materials to identify inconsistencies and areas for improvement.
Implement processes to maintain high-quality and consistent branding across all platforms.
Campaign Oversight:
Provide briefs for marketing campaigns to ensure they are engaging, on-trend, and effective.
Monitor campaign performance and suggest improvements based on data and feedback.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Work closely with department heads to ensure cohesive execution of marketing and PR strategies.
Lead and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Performance Analysis:
Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and PR efforts.
Utilize insights to refine strategies and improve engagement and ROI.
Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting for future campaign development
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or communications.
Significant experience in public relations, including media relations and PR strategy development.
Proven track record of integrating industry trends into successful marketing and advertising campaigns.
Experience with both traditional print and digital marketing channels.
