Introduction

A stunning opportunity lies with one of our clients who is looking for an Account Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible to Sell In-Store and Mall Media advertising. If the candidate has the ability to cross sell they can sell out-of-home media (Experiential Media), Maintain existing relationships and develop new business, Project Management of campaigns from concept to completion.

Duties & Responsibilities

Sales

  • Achieving given sales targets per month
  • Maintain or increase the average campaign 
  • Managing the daily operations of each campaign.
  • Manage and monitor support staff from concept to completion of each campaign.
  • Manage all internal and client documents e.g. client booking sheets, deadline schedules, space review, quoting, purchase orders and invoicing etc.
  • Develop systems and procedures to be implemented by support staff 
  • Supply management feedback and client post campaign reports
  • Create or supply relevant information to PR staff and manage the process.
  • Create and develop presentations
  • Develop the media space so as to be more profitable and impactful for advertisers.
  • Ensure that the medium is up to date with new industry developments.
  • Negotiate with Retailers to manage their in-store supplier branding or secure exclusive rights.
  • Negotiate with mall property owners to secure exclusive advertising rights.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum of 5 years media sales experience with a proven track record

Mall media, in-store or experiential media sales a bonus

Experiential Production Management a bonus

B Com / Sales / Marketing degree or equivalent beneficial

Extensive experience in Excel and Power Point

Knowledge of various print substrates.
