Our Senior Brand Designers are focused on creating exceptional and innovative branded experiences across all marketing channels. As a cross-branded designer you will be working across a diverse and exciting range of print and digital projects. We’re talking Events and Brand Activations, Packaging and Print projects, OOH/ DOOH, Media and Website Content for both Hollister and Abercrombie brands in the EMEA region.
Senior Brand Designers work within established style guides and art direction provided by our teams and collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Digital Strategists, External Agencies, Merchants, and Brand Marketing teams to create innovative and on-brand creative for our global brands.
This individual would be accountable for ideating and creating original branded content, along with fostering the organization and cross-functional partnership required to execute against the overall brand strategy. Sr Designers recognize the value of a connected brand experience from our digital channels to stores, have a passion for solving problems, influence in a cross-functional context, and deliver exceptional design. As a member of our creative team, you’ll be encouraged to push boundaries and stay curious in leading our brands forward.
This role reports into the EMEA Art Director and is located at our London, EMEA, Home Office.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Work closely with Art Direction team on the conceptual development and execution of events, brand activations and 360 brand experiences for the EMEA markets.
- Produce high-quality and accurate print-ready artwork across small and large format branding projects (Example: OOH Billboards, store-signage, events/ activation material and packaging).
- Drive creative thinking that effectively communicates locally relevant concepts and brand identity across all print and digital mediums—stores, print, site, email, digital ads, social media and more.
- Maintain consistent on-brand creative standards using a brand style guide.
- Manage design workflow and deadlines within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Contribute to presentations with department and company leadership.
- Utilize a strong sense of team-orientated, positive, proactive and project-driving skills on a daily basis.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of fashion and design trends, strategies, platforms, tools, and best practices applicable to the world of creative content and collateral for fashion retail and e-commerce.
- Maintain an intimate understanding of the brand DNA and customer and stay up-to-date on fashion e-commerce industry trends and other retail brands as they pertain to Abercrombie and Hollister’s competitive landscape in Europe.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative and production process.
- Showcase a strong sense of team-orientated, positive, proactive skills to the role on a daily basis.
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Graphic Designer in either a fashion retail or agency environment.
- Proven experience in concepting and delivering print-ready artwork across both large format and packaging print design projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Art, or related field experience preferred
- Passion for the A&F Co. brands and the role
- Ability to identify and interpret relevant fashion trends
- Excellent technical skills with an impeccable taste level and eye for colour
- Skilled in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Figma design tools
- Experience as a people manager beneficial
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organisational skills
