Strata a division of Glen Raven, is recruiting for a Product Manager which will manage all new product launches and related functions for Strata North America, including but not limited to: mapping target market and customers, understanding all the technical and commercial data, defining product SKUs, stock requirements and identifying projects, customer visits (in some cases, jointly with market manager), assisting in marketing for new products (presentations, etc.), training Market Managers on sales strategy and value proposition, coordinating any testing / R&D need etc.

Responsibilities: 



  • Take lead in managing any new product or sector launches in North America

  • Map the current ecosystem including existing suppliers, market size, target customers & distributors, value proposition, pricing and commercial offers, typical projects and SKUs sold.

  • Develop a launch strategy in conjunction with the General Manager

  • Assist in marketing & branding activities including presentations, flyers, technical docs etc. as needed

  • Meet customers & distributors to initialize sales, presentations, technical discussions along with the Market Managers

  • Coordinate all testing and R&D needs for such products / sector requirements

  • Represent Strata in public forums / bodies related to such products

  • Train Market Managers on sales strategy, commercial process and value proposition

  • Handover customer relations once product becomes more mature and focus on new product


Education & Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree in civil / environmental engineering

  • Additional Business certification preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in the geosynthetics market in sales and/or technical roles with a focus in the environmental and/or renewable energy markets. Experience with geomembranes, drainage composites, non-wovens, woven geotextiles etc. are preferred.

  • Broad technical and commercial knowledge about geosynthetics

  • Good commercial acumen on product development and market creation

  • Problem solving nature and a disciplined thought process in preparing a plan and executing it.

  • Have existing relations in the geosynthetics industry

  • Goal oriented approach with strong focus on milestones

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to both think strategically and execute.

  • A robust aptitude for leading through influence, setting direction, and delivering results.

    • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.

    • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented working environment.

    • Dynamic thinker with the ability to handle evolving priorities.
