Responsibilities:
- Completely own the Marketing function (it's vision and execution)
- Branding
- Supplier & User Acquisition
- Communication and GTMs & Product Marketing
- Community Management, PR & Social Media
- Work closely with the founders, and business teams to understand goals and own marketing roadmaps in alignment with the goals
- Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Shape and manage brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and touch points. Oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials, campaigns, and content that resonate with our target audience.
- Develop brand guidelines and ensure adherence to maintain a cohesive brand image.
- Design and manage marketing campaigns; brainstorm ways to improve creatives, content, copies etc. to improve effectiveness of campaigns.
- Drive supplier acquisition initiatives through various channels and develop strategies to optimize acquisition costs and maximize ROI.
- Be on top of supplier behaviour, and understand them in & out - leveraging data, customer interactions, studying analogues etc.
- Build scaled supplier communities, and conduct regular activities, events etc to educate them, deepen relationships and drive delight for the supplier.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives.
Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of professional experience in a marketing lead role at a tech-first organization (consumer tech/ SMB SaaS exp is a plus).
- Leadership and effective stakeholder management capabilities.
- Curiosity and love for understanding consumer behaviours, telling stories, building narratives and driving impact at scale.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Awesome communication skills, to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to navigate through dynamic, fast-paced work environment of an early-stage startup.
- Open to learning new stuff.
- Humble, kind, and open to feedback.
