Duties and Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy and Development:
Craft and implement a global branding approach tailored to specific market needs as part of the client’s growth initiatives
Align the brand strategy with the customer journey to ensure consistent and positive interactions at all touchpoints
Integrate brand strategies with product positioning to enhance relevance and appeal in diverse markets
Adapt branding initiatives for digital platforms to optimize visibility in target regions
Product Marketing:
Oversee the creation of market-entry strategies tailored to diverse markets and audience segments
Develop marketing approaches that address customers' needs at every stage of their journey, improving their overall experience
Ensure effective communication of product value propositions to resonate with varying customer bases
Spearhead digital campaigns to effectively engage and convert online audiences
Stay informed about best practices and innovations in product marketing to maintain a competitive edge
Marketing Campaigns:
Direct marketing efforts to enhance brand recognition in expansion regions
Coordinate with internal teams to create campaigns that solve customer challenges and enhance their experience
Manage promotions and initiatives for product-specific campaigns supporting market growth
Oversee digital advertising efforts, including social media and search engine strategies, to engage target audiences effectively
Digital Strategy:
Design and oversee digital strategies that align with the preferences and cultures of new markets
Guide the development of content that supports customers throughout their journey
Ensure the creation of educational and informative content about the client’s products and services
Drive the development of online materials aligned with digital strategies to enhance customer engagement
Team Leadership:
Guide the marketing team in mastering the nuances of different markets and creating tailored strategies
Foster a customer-first mindset and ensure marketing activities reflect the customer journey
Encourage a focus on product expertise and digital marketing capabilities within the team
Build a positive and productive team culture to drive motivation, minimize disruptions, and boost efficiency
Identify talent needs, mentor team members, and promote continuous learning and development to maintain a high-performance culture
Data Insights and Reporting:
Provide actionable insights and recommendations backed by strategic thinking and data expertise
Lead market research and develop systems to make insights readily available
Track and evaluate marketing performance across new and established markets to support strategic decisions
Analyze customer journey metrics to identify improvement opportunities
Measure the impact of marketing efforts on revenue, customer engagement, and ROI to refine strategies
Budget Management:
Ensure sound financial management and adherence to budgetary controls
Allocate funds strategically to support marketing initiatives, including campaigns, customer experience enhancement, and digital activities
Mitigate risks by implementing governance, compliance, and corrective action protocols
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency and optimize processes
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Establish and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet service expectations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing strategies align with business objectives
Partner with customer support and product teams to enhance the customer journey
Work closely with product development teams to integrate marketing and product strategies
Collaborate with IT and digital experts to fine-tune online channel strategies
Key Requirements:
Postgraduate Honours or Diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field
A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing roles, particularly in financial/fintech sectors
Proven leadership experience in managing and developing marketing teams for at least 5 years
Demonstrated success in international market expansion strategies
Expertise in fintech, digital banking, and financial services marketing
Proficient in data analysis, budget management, and digital marketing tools
