The Role:
Become the driving force behind our brand identity and market presence in this pivotal leadership position. As the VP of Brand and Divisional Marketing, you'll lead the creation and execution of strategic initiatives that influence brand preference and align closely with our business priorities. Oversee both brand and performance marketing efforts to achieve customer acquisition and retention in competitive markets. We're looking for a visionary leader who understands market competition, business drivers, and customer needs, ensuring our brand remains a market leader.
What You'll Do:
Brand Leadership & Strategy
- Develop & Articulate the Brand Vision: Craft a long-term, differentiated brand strategy that positions our healthcare organization as a market leader and trusted partner. Communicate the brand’s vision, mission, and core values across all channels and internal teams.
- Brand Architecture & Consistency: Oversee the creation and regular updating of comprehensive brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure unified brand representation and drive internal brand advocacy.
- Market Differentiation & Innovation: Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to evolve the brand proposition. Lead innovation efforts by identifying emerging opportunities and integrating creative solutions into the brand strategy.
- Performance & Brand Health Monitoring: Establish KPIs to monitor brand health, awareness, and engagement. Leverage analytics to adjust brand strategy in real time for sustained relevance.
- Brand Implementation in Local Markets: Execute operational plans that translate strategic concepts into tangible updates across all touchpoints. Collaborate with design, facilities, and partners to ensure seamless rollout of brand updates.
Creative Services & Media Buying
- Integrated Creative Direction: Oversee creative services, ensuring that all visual and messaging components are innovative and align with brand standards. Develop compelling campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Effective Media Strategies: Manage media buying across digital and traditional channels, optimizing campaigns for maximum reach and impact.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Data-Driven Insights: Establish a 'Voice of the Customer' Center of Excellence to gather insights across the enterprise. Lead initiatives to refine the brand strategy and ensure agile responses to market shifts.
Regional Marketing Leadership
- Regional Competitive Differentiation & Market Share Growth: Mentor regional teams in executing localized strategies and identifying differentiation to grow market share. Tailor strategies to unique market conditions while aligning with overall brand vision.
- Strategic Partnership & Collaborative Execution: Foster relationships with regional leaders to execute strategic growth plans. Communicate effectively to drive organizational alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
Team Leadership & Development
- Building & Developing High-Performing Teams: Lead and inspire a diverse team, implementing talent management strategies for continuous growth.
- Cultivating a Collaborative Culture: Encourage creativity, collaboration, and accountability across all levels of the marketing organization.
- Performance Management & Accountability: Establish metrics and hold team members accountable for achieving strategic and operational goals.
- Empowering Innovation & Thought Leadership: Challenge the status quo and contribute innovative ideas, facilitating knowledge sharing to enhance marketing effectiveness.
What You'll Bring:
- Qualifications: MBA, MHA, or Master's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: 20+ years in brand and marketing leadership roles, with 15+ years managing teams.
- Skills: Proven ability to lead large teams, drive growth through digital and traditional channels, and craft compelling narratives.
- Innovative Brand Architect: Conceptualize and implement a distinctive brand voice across multiple channels.
- Strategic Creative Visionary: Develop messaging that engages emotionally and drives business results.
- Collaborative Innovator: Excel in working with cross-functional teams and centralized services.
- Adaptable & Agile Thinker: Demonstrate flexibility to pivot in response to market trends.
- Digital & Traditional Savvy: Leverage expertise in media platforms to amplify the brand voice.
- Location Flexibility: Preferred candidates based in WA, OR, or CA, with travel flexibility as needed.

Further, we want our leaders to live in or near the communities we serve. Therefore, leaders applying for this role will be required to work a hybrid schedule, which consists of three days onsite, two days remote and live within a reasonable commuting distance to the ministry or service area they support and lead.
