  • Salary: £35,000 per annum depending on experience

Job Overview:

Exercise discretion and independent judgment in providing administrative support to Branding Consultant (BC) regarding business development, customer order support, quality control and other necessary administrative functions. The BAS will be proactive in assisting their BC with new ideas to boost business. Nadel is a business of custom rush projects and from time to time there will be special tasks in addition to the duties listed below.

 

Core Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
  • Manage client relationships on the phone, via email and in in-person meetings
  • Develop business opportunities with existing client accounts and develop potential new business
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Coordinate with corporate staff as needed (Warehouse, Compliance etc.)
  • Implement industry/company strategy on pricing and markups
  • Source / quote / create proposals with minimal direction from BC
  • Place and track sample orders through to client delivery
  • Make appropriate selection for client from product samples
  • Participate and coordinate samples for drop-in sessions
  • Using knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, coordinate the art requirements with client and vendor
  • Coordinate art from factory to client
  • Collect and analyse information regarding client's orders
  • Determine which services best meet the client's needs and financial circumstances
  • Advise client regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different offerings, for example, a global e-commerce web store or a microsite
  • Market, service or promote Nadel's e-commerce, warehousing and fulfillment services
  • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding minimum spend requirements for prospective clients
  • Evaluate whether client is suitable for an e-commerce solution
  • Send weekly or monthly emails to BCs regarding developing sales/business strategies and lend expertise and knowledge to assigned BCs
  • Identify new contacts within existing client accounts

CUSTOMER ORDER SUPPORT:
  • Independently manage the process around new orders
  • Engage directly with factory regarding P.O. and order processing
  • Resolve issues in collaboration with BC regarding problems or issues with orders, come up with potential solutions, and present to and work with BC to resolve
  • Allocate how the budgeted client's budget is spent
  • Authorise the payment of supplier invoices
    Negotiate terms (including prices, delivery times) with vendors
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels for client's e-commerce webstores

QUALITY CONTROL:
  • Verify accuracy of Nadel billing for each order
  • Coordinate with Nadel stakeholders as appropriate (accounts, logistics teams)

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:
  • Support fellow team members during times of high volume
  • Assist with general office duties as needed
  • Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude with all stakeholders

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 3 years' administrative experience
  • Minimum 2 years industry experience
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; think critically; manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Takes initiative for the team
  • Possess superior customer service skills
  • Must be highly detail oriented and very organised with the ability to adapt to a changing environment while following tasks through to completion
  • Advanced reading comprehension
  • Good with numbers relating to margins (sell/cost)
  • Reliable, positive and professional attitude
  • Pro-active with a team-player outlook
  • Ability to work autonomously to achieve team goals
  • Outgoing, friendly and approachable personality
  • Excellent phone skills with strong email and writing etiquette
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Adobe Illustrator and photoshop an advantage
  • Must have a general understanding in basic artwork requirements


Education:

  • Educated to A Level standard
  • University Graduate preferred
