The Brand and Talent Manager role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of marketing and human resources within one of the fastest-growing firms in the industry. This position will play a critical role in attracting top-tier talent while enhancing the company’s employer brand and external reputation.
 
Working closely with the Director, People & Talent and the Director of Marketing, this person will support recruiting efforts, talent acquisition strategies, and employer branding initiatives. Additionally, they will contribute to broader HR and marketing projects, ensuring alignment between company culture, brand identity, and employee engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage full-cycle recruitment from candidates to employee onboarding process.
    • Responsible for HR systems, policies, procedures and support administration.
    • Partner with Director of People & Cultures to implement best HR practices.
    • Assists in all benefit processes, including open enrollment, HRIS systems prep and employee communication.
    • Take the lead in performance management cycle and talent review preparation.
    • Execute and distribute the monthly company newsletter.
    • Manage employee headshots and update website additions/removals.
    • Assist in planning and coordinating company events, including social gatherings and Virtus Days.
    • Oversee company swag, including ordering, shipping, and inventory management.
    • Maintain and update content on the employee intranet.
    • Organize and manage file storage, including event photos and employee records.

Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or related field and/or years of experience equivalent.
    • 1-3+ years of Human Resources experience preferred.
    • Specific experience with benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, learning and development a plus.
    • Must have familiarity and good working knowledge of various Microsoft software applications and the ability to learn new software systems.
    • Ability to maintain the highest standard of emotional maturity, confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism to represent the People & Talent team across the company.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with others at all levels of the company required.
    • Must have a service mentality and have a strong track record of building rapport and trust with everyone you encounter.
    • Needs to have strong organization stills and attention to detail - this role requires the ability to follow specific processes and steps within specific timeframes.
    • Must be agile and adaptable; there will be outlier situations that don't fit perfectly inside a box. 
$60,000 - $65,000 a year
