Position Overview

Flite is at the forefront of innovation in the e-foiling industry, delivering remarkable products that inspire people to take Flite. As the Brand Manager - North America, you will lead the development and execution of brand strategies, ensuring Flite’s presence and impact in the North American market align with global objectives. This role requires a combination of strategic vision, brand expertise, and hands-on execution to drive growth, elevate brand awareness, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to oversee brand positioning, product launches, activations, and marketing initiatives that resonate with both B2B and B2C audiences. Your expertise in marketing and branding will be instrumental in cementing Flite as the most loved brand in its category.

Brand Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute Flite’s brand strategy in the North American market, ensuring alignment with global objectives and positioning.
  • Define brand messaging, audience segmentation, and customer personas to optimize engagement and drive growth.
  • Oversee the implementation of brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.

Marketing & Activations

  • Plan and execute product launches, brand campaigns, and promotional activities to increase market penetration and customer engagement.
  • Develop and manage regional activations, events, partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
  • Work with the global marketing team to localize campaigns and communications for the North American market, and execute impactful tactics throughout digital, promotions, research, advertising, social, and media.
  • Specialized expertise in evaluating, planning, and executing experiential marketing initiatives from ideation to delivery, with clear target outcomes.

Content & Digital Marketing

  • Partner with content creators, influencers, and ambassadors to amplify brand awareness and storytelling.
  • Manage media activations, journalist experiences, and press outreach to drive earned media coverage.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce compelling marketing assets for digital, print, and social media.
  • Collaborate with the Digital team to align and execute regional digital strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, customer service, and product teams to align brand initiatives with business objectives.
  • Partner with consumer insights and data teams to analyze market trends, campaign performance, and customer feedback to refine strategies.
  • Support Flite’s authorized partners and retailers with marketing assets, branding guidance, and promotional initiatives.

Budget & Performance Management

  • Develop and manage the North American brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of brand initiatives and inform future decisions.
  • Provide reports and insights to leadership on brand performance, competitive landscape, and market trends.

Required Qualifications:  

  •  Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for innovation, adventure, and premium brand positioning.
  • Hands-on approach with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Enthusiastic about watersports, foiling, or outdoor adventure industries.

Education and Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5-8 years of experience in brand marketing, preferably within the premium/luxury/sports/outdoor industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing large-scale brand activations, sponsorships, and influencer collaborations.
  • Proven track record in overseeing large-scale brand events, from initial evaluation to successful execution
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media trends, and content strategy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • Experience in the marine, watersports, or outdoor lifestyle industry is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%) for events, activations, and industry engagements.

The anticipated pay range for this position is 85,800 – 138,200 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
