About the Brand Manager position
Brand Managers are tasked with managing and maintaining a brand's image, identity, and market positioning. They develop strategies and execute initiatives to increase brand awareness, reputation, and equity. This includes conducting market research, analyzing consumer insights, and collaborating with different departments to ensure brand consistency. Brand Managers continuously monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to refine and strengthen the brand's presence. Ultimately, their aim is to drive brand growth, foster customer loyalty, and maximize profitability.
Brand Manager responsibilities are:
- Brand Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy for Green Mountain Gringo (GMG), aligning with overall business objectives and ensuring a consistent brand image.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development of new products and improvements to existing products within the GMG portfolio.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify opportunities for brand expansion, differentiation, and growth.
- Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including brand messaging, digital and traditional media, consumer promotions and public relations, to broaden brand awareness, enhance trial and retrial, and build a loyal consumer franchise.
- Consumer Engagement: Implement strategies to engage and connect with consumers, including social media campaigns, influencer partnerships, and other community-building initiatives.
- Packaging and Branding: Oversee the design and development of packaging and branding materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the brand's marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve marketing goals.
- Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to brand management.
- Agency Relationship: Work with the brands advertising agency for the development of appropriate brand messaging and effective media planning, placement, and administration.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company policies and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Brand Manager requirements are:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in brand management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Creative mindset with a track record of successful marketing campaigns.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Ability to be organized, flexible and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with all levels of an organization and manage effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships within a positive work environment.
