As we continue to expand our market presence, we are looking for a strategic and dynamic Brand Manager to help elevate and manage the JMC brand, ensuring consistency across all marketing efforts and enhancing brand awareness across multiple channels.
Job Summary: The Brand Manager will be responsible for the development, execution, and ongoing management of JMC’s brand strategy. This role involves shaping the brand’s identity, overseeing marketing campaigns, and ensuring that the brand remains relevant and competitive in the market. The Brand Manager will work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure that JMC’s positioning aligns with business objectives and resonates with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Brand Strategy Development:
    • Develop and execute the long-term brand strategy to establish and strengthen JMC’s market position in the Philippines.
    • Collaborate with senior management to define the brand’s vision, mission, and values to ensure a clear and unified brand direction.
    • Lead the creation of the brand’s positioning and messaging to differentiate JMC trucks from competitors.
    • Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across all marketing materials, campaigns, and channels.
  2. Campaign Development and Management:
    • Oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and product demand.
    • Work closely with the digital marketing team to ensure online campaigns align with the overall brand strategy.
  3. Market Research and Consumer Insights:
    • Conduct market research and consumer analysis to understand customer needs, behaviors, and trends.
    • Analyze brand performance and competitor activities, using insights to adjust strategies and improve brand positioning.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work with the sales, product development, and customer service teams to ensure the brand’s values and promises are reflected in all customer touchpoints.
    • Ensure that product launches are aligned with brand objectives and communicate the brand message effectively.
  5. Brand Guidelines and Consistency:
    • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials, advertisements, and corporate communications.
    • Monitor brand health and ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand standards.
  6. Budget and Resource Management:
    • Manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to key initiatives.
    • Track ROI on marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
  7. Brand Advocacy and Communication:
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including external agencies, media partners, and influencers, to drive brand advocacy and positive media coverage.
    • Ensure that the JMC brand is effectively communicated across all touchpoints, from advertising to customer interactions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in brand management or a related field, preferably in the automotive or FMCG sector.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles, market research, and consumer behavior.
  • Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day brand activities.
  • Proficiency in using brand management tools, social media platforms, and analytics.
  • Knowledge of the truck industry or logistics sector is a plus.
